Bangkok, Phuket, and Krabi Experience: Exploring the Vibrant Beauty of Thailand

Join me on an unforgettable journey as I delve into the vibrant allure of Thailand. This incredible trip took place from February 16th to February 24th, 2019, and each moment was filled with excitement and awe. Let me share the highlights of my adventure through Bangkok, Phuket, and Krabi, and inspire you to explore these incredible destinations.

Bangkok: A Fusion of Culture and Charm

Our adventure began on the 16th of February, departing from Bangalore at 9:30 AM and arriving at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok around 1:00 PM. Our first destination was Analog Hostel in Sukhumvit 31, and I can't recommend it enough. It's a peaceful and secure haven, centrally located, allowing you to fully enjoy the city without any worries about your belongings.

On the first day (February 17th), we embarked on a journey to discover the enchanting wonders of Bangkok. Our itinerary included visits to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun Ratchawararam Temple, each with an entrance fee of 500 Baht and 200 Baht, respectively. These iconic landmarks showcased magnificent architecture and offered insights into the rich cultural heritage of Thailand.

To reach the Grand Palace, we hopped on the BTS Sky Train from Asok to Siam, changed metro lines, and disembarked at Saphin Taksin. From there, we purchased a single-trip ticket for 40 Baht and hopped on a ferry (15 Baht) to reach our destination. Consider booking a private tourist guide to enhance your visit and negotiate a better deal.

Phuket: A Tropical Paradise

Leaving the bustling streets of Bangkok behind, we took a flight from Don Muang Airport to Phuket, where we checked in at Beer Backer Hostel near Bangla Road. After settling in, we explored Indra Mall and savored the vibrant atmosphere of the city during the evening.

The fourth day was truly a highlight as we embarked on a memorable Phi Phi island hopping tour. By booking with a local tourist guide, we secured a fantastic deal of 900 Baht per person, which was considerably lower than the online price of 1499 Baht. The Phi Phi Islands offered breathtaking natural beauty and an incredible opportunity to immerse ourselves in Thailand's stunning marine landscape.

On the fifth day, we had an unforgettable scuba diving experience with Love Diving. Spending 20 to 30 minutes underwater was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The serene journey beneath the surface allowed us to witness the mesmerizing marine life and create lasting memories.

Krabi: Nature's Tranquil Haven

Continuing our journey, we bid farewell to Phuket and embarked on a ferry ride to Krabi on the 22nd of February. The following two days were spent at the enchanting Krabi Banana's Resort, a heavenly oasis where we immersed ourselves in the beauty of nature and embraced the perfect ambiance for relaxation with our loved ones.

On the 24th of February, our incredible adventure came to a close as we returned to Bangalore, carrying memories that would last a lifetime.
